Dark-Eyed White

Dark-eyed white has a white coat colour throughout with no coloured marks. The eyes should be dark burgundy or black.

Some DEWs may have black hairs on the tail which disappear rapidly with roaning, these are black silvermitt based DEWs.

The exact genetics of the dark-eyed white is unknown. It could be hypothesised it is due to extreme dilution but recent research suggests it could be a light champagne silvermitt (starred below).
